Players can expect a very enticing and compelling experience. Of course, the traditional tropes of mythical powers, dubious characters, and everything else, but the themes of betrayal, loyalty, friendship, and time travel are remarkable all around. The really interesting part however is how intricate, complex and well-written the overarching story is. While a younger audience might be unaware of the magnitude of the title, there is nothing wrong with saying this is what propelled Square Enix to stardom.
